ALLERGY TEST
If using single application packets:
Squeeze a small amount of solution No 1 onto the end of the applicator stick
Apply to the inside of your arm
Do the same with solution No 2 and apply over the same spot as solution No 1. Let stand one minute and wipe clean
Place both foil packets back into the zip lock bag and store in a cool, dry place. Wait 24 hours. If no visible signs of irritation exists, you may proceed with tinting the lashes. Do not use this product if irritation is visible
If using multi application tubes, remove cap on solution No 1 Cream Colorant and use the cap to pierce the protective film on the tube. Follow the same instructions as above.
TINTING YOUR EYELASHES
For best results, wash lashes thoroughly with a mild soap and warm water, or use an oil free makeup remover. Let dry before tinting.
It is best to tint one eye at a time. Apply a thin coat of petroleum jelly under the eye area and apply enclosed eye shields. Make sure eye shields are placed directly below the lower eyelashes. This will prevent staining
If using single application packets, remove the work station card and squeeze the entire contents of solution No 1 and No 2 onto the marked circles. DO NOT MIX
If using multi application tubes, remove cap of solution No 1 Cream Colorant and pierce the protective film on front end of the tube
Apply solution No 1 onto the lashes with enclosed applicator in a downward motion towards the eye shield. Let stand a few seconds. Do not remove color
Wipe applicator stick clean and apply solution No 2 over solution No 1. Be sure to coat each eyelash hair thoroughly including ends and corners of the eyelashes. Let stand one minuteRemove color with a damp tissue by wiping downward towards the eye shield. Wash lashes with water to remove any residue. The tinting process is now complete
TINTING YOUR EYEBROWS
Apply petroleum jelly around the eye area to prevent accidental staining. Be careful not to get any on the eyebrows
.Follow directions 2-5 for tinting the eyelashes. They are the same
STAINING THE SKIN HAS OCCURRED
Stains will disappear in 1-2 days. To speed up the process, create a mild exfoliate of water and sugar, and rub gently on stain and rinse with waterApply a matte makeup or powder to cover stain.
A SLIGHT STINGING SENSATION AFTER APPLYING HAS OCCURRED
A slight stinging sensation is somewhat common and should subside quickly after rinsing with water. If stinging persists, discontinue use and seek medical attention.

I did my lashes and brows all at once, taking my time, maybe 10-15 mins total. The instructions suggest doing one eye at a time, which makes sense for ensuring equal processing time, but I decided to risk it. I was careful to apply with precision, while using plenty of product. The result is great. It has been several days and is holding up well. The dye does stain the skin temporarily, and on my brows the black dye appeared more like a vibrant dark brown on day one. By day two, with normal washing, the stain/warm cast were gone. I'm very happy with the outcome.

You need to clean the lashes of oil or makeup before applying the tint. Wash lashes thoroughly, let them dry completely then repeat the tinting process. Make sure when you apply petroleum jelly you do not get it on the hair. This will inhibit the color process

I found this product difficult to apply. The plastic applicator stick really made it hard to control the amount of product you were putting on and almost impossible to apply it to individual strands. I ended up using a brow/mascara brush that I had on hand, this worked much better. The color wasn't as dark as I thought it would be, even after applying twice. Maybe another coat would've made a difference or if had chosen black.

Swap to a small, angled brow or mascara brush—just like you discovered—to get more precision on individual hairs. As a side note we opted out of providing a mascara brush because we found more solution is lost within the bristles therefore may not yield as many uses. Very easy to apply and I plan to order another before I go on vacation to Hawaii in September. It will be great to have nice lashes even when I'm swimming or snorkeling.

I like this lash dye very much. The application is fast and easy. I always use this when I am unable to uses eye makeup. I scheduled cataract surgery, and this 28 day mascara will last for the 4 weeks of aftertreatment. I have transparent lashes, so I get the black instead of the brown.

This is the best die for Eyebrows.
My Eyebrows are blonde, very much invisible... like fishing line.
I've used this for years. It has made me very confident.
However, this product does very little for 'MY' fishing line eyelashes... much too difficult to die my eyelashes myself. So, I just use mascara.

Nope. Not unless I get a friend to help next time. This was NOT a one person job. Also, you WILL get dye on your fingers and probably fingernails. The little under eye patches are very small. Imagine balancing the patch with one eye closed and trying to wipe off the applicator tip so you can put the second solution on? Yea…no. I’ll spend the bucks for a professional tint next time.

It's a great product BUT it didn't work for me. It was very successful at coloring my eyelashes black; unfortunately, I have very thin eyelashes so even though they're black, I can still barely see them. The product is fine, the problem is on my end.

Very difficult to put on with the applicator stick. You need to change it to a thin mascara brush. People with light or gray hair need to get closer to the root without staining their eyelids. Other than that it looks like it will last really long.

I need to use this a bit more often as my eyes water a lot. Still, it does make them look dark and when I curl them they look pretty great. The "perm" part (comes included with certain packaging) works amazingly too. I use spoolies (like mascara wands that you toss afterward) to apply and leave on for a longer time. Also it does not seem to take out my eyelashes, and I like that the ingredients are not super harmful if you get it in your eye by mistake--which I've only managed to do once.

the applicator didn’t work very well, a lot got in my eyes and it stung very bad so I only did one eye and just threw the rest out. I would suggest a better applicator more like a mascara brush perhaps and better instructions.

As for the applicator, we’ve opted not to include a spoolie or mascara-style brush, as we discovered that a significant amount of product tends to get lost in the bristles.

The little stick provided was not a good applicator. The amount of product was way too much for eyelashes. I would like smaller batches with more applications.The under eye pads really didn't want to stay in place. My eyelashes are dyed but I would look at other options next time

We include enough product to allow for a second application, just in case it's needed. And when it comes to keeping the eye shield in place, finding the right amount of Vaseline can take a bit of experimentation — a little goes a long way.
