Developer (oxidant):

Water (Aqua), Hydrogen Peroxide, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Diethylenetriamine Pentamethylene Phosphonic Acid, Mineral Oil, Acrylamide/Sodium Acrylate Copolymer, Trideceth-6, Phosphoric Acid

Color Capsules:

Magnesium Carbonate, Sodium Sulfate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Carbonate, p-Phenylenediamine, Resorcinol, Sodium Sulfite, m-Aminophenol, 2,6 Diaminopyridine

ALLERGY TEST

Prior to using this kit, perform an allergy test. While rare, allergic reactions can occur when this product comes in contact with skin.

Wash with warm water and soap an area the size of a quarter on the inside of your arm. Pat dry.

Prepare a small test solution using a color capsule and equal parts of the developer (approximately half a cap full). Mix in a small plastic or glass bowl.

Apply a light coating to the prepared area of your arm. Let the area dry naturally. Do not wash area for 24 hours. If redness, itching, or any other irritations occurs, immediately wash the area with mild soap and water and do not use this product.

MIXING

Determine the number of capsules to use. Use one capsule for small areas like mustaches, goatees, sideburns or short beards. Use two capsules for short to medium beards or long goatees. Use three capsules for medium to long beards. Remove the large, black mixing cup and open the color capsule(s) and pour the entire contents of the capsule into the mixing cup. Be sure to empty all of the color powder.

Next, remove the small, white measuring cup and fill the cup to the top with the Developer. Use one full measuring cup for each color capsule. Empty the entire contents of the measuring cup into the black mixing cup. Mix thoroughly until the powder has completely dissolved.

LET STAND FOR 5 MINUTES. Mix again before applying.

APPLYING THE COLOR

Before applying color, comb through facial hair with the enclosed comb & brush applicator.

Using the brush applicator end, apply colorant to facial hair. Start with the area where hair is the most gray. Apply colorant generously, replenishing brush applicator with more colorant as needed.

Remove any colorant from the skin immediately to prevent staining.

Be sure that all facial hair is covered completely, especially at the ends. Do not comb through or you will remove the color Leave the color in to process.

Processing times
(The longer you process the color the darker the results will be. Watch your processing times closely

Jet Black = 10 minutes    |    Natural Black = 10 minutes

Dark Brown = 8 minutes    |    Medium Brown = 5 minutes

Light Brown = 5 minutes

REMOVING THE COLOR

Rinse with warm water until water runs clear. Do not use soap. Facial hair will look darker when wet. Let dry completely and examine the results.

If you wish to obtain darker results, reapply remaining mixture and process 2 to 3 minutes longer. Shampoo facial hair to insure all of the colorant is removed from the skin. This can help to prevent irritation
