I purchased the curler and loved it, but for some reason it died rather quickly. So I purchased a second and I'm glad that I did, because more than a year later it is still working great. I purchased these pads because you really need them and not regular pads to work with the the heat. A regular pad will warp after several uses. Using the Godefroy heated curler and appropriate pad leaves your lashes curled much longer, even after applying non-waterproof mascara (because the water in the mascara uncurls lashes).
